I watched this beautiful, moving film yesterday. It is rare that a film moves me to tears in the middle of the movie, but leaves me dry-eyed at the end, inspiring me with hope. I woke up with little energy and drive to do anything on New Year's Day. It may have had to do with all the champagne I had drunk the night before, or the fact that it was already 35C at 9am.
